Harder, Better, Faster Stronger... at Coney Island

This is the music video by Olivier Gondry, made up of footage from 250 fans at the Coney Island Daft Punk show (you know, the one I was at). It's pretty dope. Looks a lot like the Beastie Boys' Awesome I Fuckin' Shot That! movie. No, you can't see me, but you can picture my orgasmic excitement at every light switch, song mashup, and robot jig. Picture it. Now. Good.

Mistresses of Suspense

Two great women authors wrote two great thrillers recently. So I reviewed them for the Weekly, which you can read here.

Over the "Rainbows"

Radiohead released an album. Or something. I haven't really heard anything about it, and neither have you (probably). So I wrote about it for the Weekly, which makes my two cents even worthless. Still, you can read it yonder.

Cuz It's Louis Vuitton Don Night

Daft Punk DJ'd the Louis Vuitton Spring '08 Collection and it blew away everyone in the world. Or at least that's what I thought when I heard it: that I was the last man on earth, forced to travel the globe in search of a sexy survivor to repopulate the planet with while all the while fighting off vicious, mutated beasts. Just watch the video.

We All Have Our Own, Personal "Johnny Neumonic"s

I loves me some William Gibson. So I reviewed his new novel for the Weekly. Read what I had to say here.

I Like "Pushing Daisies" A Whole Fucking Lot

I also did a little preview/review of a bunch of fall TV shows, which boiled down to me saying that they were time-fillers until Lost graced us with its freak-out presence come February. (Pushing Daisies has totally stolen my heart, I must admit.) I love the picture of Ray Wise they used, too. Read it here.

Britney Album is Called "Blackout" and Comes Out in Late October (Whoops)

I did my "Fall Music Preview" for the Weekly. The results can he read . They kept my blow job joke, so I'm happy. The unused subtitle for the article was "10 Albums We'll Actually Buy Legally (Maybe)." Read said blow job joke and other things here.
